when I upgraded to front disc brakes, on my 62 Dodge wagon, I switched to dot 5 fluid. I also went with the aluminum/plastic duel servo master and Willwood proportioning valve. that was about 5 or 6 years ago, and haven't had a problem except normal wear and tear
on the pads and rotors. no problems fluid related anyway. Schuyler 62 Dodge Dart 440 wagon w/ Poly 318 <http://www.1962to1965mopar.ornocar.org/ml-wrobel62.html>FYI - I Do the Decal designs for the Poly head 318 and more! email me with your needs -

I'm not sold on silicone brake fluid myself. I've also heard stories of people having a soft brake pedal especially at high altitudes. If my memory serves me right, He didsome research and found that the seals needed to be upgraded to handlethe silicone. So he spent quite a bit of time and $ for that, lots of $ on DOT 5 fluid, throughly flushed the system, did everything right, and then had a soft pedal @ the end that he couldn't get rid of. Evenreplaced the MC and it was still there. Finally went back to DOT 3 andproblem was solved. I don't remember any more than what I put here, but I do remember he was cussing for spending all that $ for nothing! Do you have to replace all of the hoses and cylinders, etc? Or can you just bleed the silicone fluid through the wheel cylinders?
