All lit that I have has the three speed floor shift being replaced in 1963 
with the new 4 speed. Their are no three speeds in 1964 except for the 3 
speed column mount which was the standard trans for all cars, autos and 4 
spd. were extra. came with upgraded models and eng packages.  Dave O
