Also converter splines are different (I think that and the lack of a rear pump started for the '67 model year). Pre-65 727's will have ball & trunion u-joints instead of cross & roller (slip yoke). Filters are different too because of the two pumps. If you don't see listings for pre-66 stuff, you need to find a less generic supplier. Everything you could need is available except a few of the hard parts.
