Jeff,The 413/727 swap is a shoe-in for your Chrysler. The trans cross member will be within an inch or two and you will probably be able to use it with a new Polyurethane mount.
The big block has plenty of room and you can use the big block motor mounts with very minor mods to attach them to the '56 frame/mounting area.
