Seems to be 2 schools of thought on this Kevin. One article I read says don't use them because they'll throw the front end geometry off and put a strain on the ball joints. Then another article I've read said they'll actually improve the front end geometry. I've always used the 73-76 A body stuff myself but I have a couple of friends who've used the spindles from Diplomat Police cars and they say that they work fine.
Did you say give? In that case I'd go ahead and use them. Dan----- Original Message ----- From: "Kevin Merkley" <krmerkley@xxxxxxxxx>

Hi folks, I know that I have likely asked this before but my memory is getting bad. I have a friend that wants to give me the spindles and such from a Fifth Avenue. Will they fit without a lot of hassle on a 64 Dodge Polara 500 convert? It seems that I read that they will although they are a bit taller. Has anyone actually done it? I know that the 73-76 A body spindles work perfectly but just want confirmation on the Fifth Ave and the Diplomat style of car. Thanks for your patience with my short memory. K. Kevin R.
