Well, if it is the same as the 440 model, your metal dash should have 
four holes around the radio. The plastic piece has 4 riser pad / plastic 
studs that have nuts. This is probably what was drilled out when the 4 
studs got broke off on the piece you have. They are quite fragile.
If you want me to send you a pic off the holes in the dash, let me know.
