I have had 2 clarke welders,,,,,,,,,,mine were the 250 turbo  models, have no 
problem thinking that I got my moneys worth from  them,,,,,,,,,there are 
better welders out there, and as usuall you get what you  pay for, the one you are 
talking about will be limitied to sheet metal, and the  price sounds a little 
high to me, however have not priced one for several  years
