hi, got the idler arm off. pickling fork undid the body end easy. dropped the link out of car & tried tapping arm out of link with BFH. no go . set it up on blocks & took to it with bigger BFH & eventually it popped out. stuffed thread on arm though. there was some scoring inside hole where stud slides in & am thinking this may have been stopping it from coming out. like the idea of using 2 hammers working against each other. will try that method next time instead of resorting to very BFH. we live & learn. happily every thing else so far has been coming off well. thaks for help, cheers, richard [oz] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
