I've come to the realization that I'm going to have to pull the engine to do this right. (Did you hear that Rich?) So while it's out I could have the block decked as you suggested. I could also use a different piston like a 6-pack piston that has a lower pin height, raising it up in the hole. Either one dictates that the engine come out. I'll probably wait till March when the weather breaks a little around here before I pull it. (Mark your calendar Rich) I've also got a new 770 CFM Holley Carb and set of Schumacher Tri-Y Headers to put on it. I'm also looking for a Performer RPM intake. It will definitely be faster when I get done. Paul L.
