Re: window whisker for '64 2-door hardtop

The whiskers that are closest to the outside actually pop off. They are kind of a spring clip that is part of the frame of the whisker. It is kind of hard to explain, but take a look at the new ones BEFORE you remove the old ones and you will see how to do it. I used a screwdriver between the whisker and the metal of the car, start at the door opening and work towards the back. Pry from the side not the top so you don't chip the paint. Chances are the clips are rusty and alot of them will break off and then you can use pliers to pull out the clips. The hard part is putting the new ones in. It takes a good deal of pressure to get them to pop into the holes. It wasn't too hard to work around the windows.

I got mine at kramers. Most of the usual suspects carry them though...

Mine are falling apart. Back windows look challenging. I'm assuming side panels come out, but how do you work around the rolled down rear windows? Where did you buy your replacements? Thanks!
