thanksgiving and Wagons

yeah you are right . It is nice to celebrate both. My brother and sister as well live in NY state but have lost my address i guess. course I didnt invite them here either come to think of it.
One year a friend who lives here from Ohio asked if she invited us to her palce for the US Thankgiving what would i do for it. Without thunking I said oh I would probably sing Amaerica the beautiful for you so you would feel at home. She challenged me to stand and deliver so i did one verse (Was all i knew anyway.) My singing was bad but the turkey was good. She said "well Don , You are a man of your word." It made her happy so far away for her homeland so it was ok with me.
Wagons
Anyway I wish i lived nearer to that 67 Ply 383 Wagon. What a cool unit that would be!!!!
Alaway like wagons. had a 64 Dodge 383 wagon in the 70s. had a 72 ply 360 wagon and a 66 Cornet poly wagon. Drove the poly to Florida and back one Christmas. Even had a volare wagon once. Wagon are fun!! and make great sleepers as the weight dofference is a lot less than one would thunk. Picture it a big ol Mopar wagon with a good MW or a 440 warmed over. I watched Tritak and Morgens 63 ply MW as a teenager. never forgot it. Awsome doesnt even come close to describing it. A 67 isnt quite the same but it would be a blast for sure.
