I run approximately 35PSI in my BFG street radials or slightly over the max pressure. There are varying "reports/facts" regarding max tire pressure. When running the max pressure or 1-2lbs. above, I always monitor the wear pattern and correct accordingly; my choice of pressure is always done on a cold tire and I take account of the temp range for the day/season.

Hi, What tire pressures do you folks run your radial tires? The owners manual of my 64 Dodge call for 26 and 28 psi (belted tires). Do we ignore the listed pressures and go with 35ish that is more normal on newer vehicles? I use 35 psi but never asked this question before. What do you think? K. Kevin R.
