Jim, We have all been there. What hope for when those things happen is that I am in my garage alone, and no one knows what a bone head I really am. It is fun to share those things at a later date and get some grins out of it. Huh Goober? Earl You may recall that a few weeks ago I posted that I had an issue with my taillights - one of the bulbs on the right side illuminated both filaments (tail and brake) when I turned on the lights. OK, then. Spent the best part of the day chasing down what I was convinced had to be a short to ground. Several hours later, after checking every wire in the circuit, all the way up into the steering column harness, I found the problem: I inserted the bulb wrong and it was grounding on the lamp housing. I am now changing my clubhouse name to Goober. At least the sun is shining and I could be doing worse things than working on my beloved Fury.
