The guru is Daniel Stern, he's in the vendor pages. I believe he wrote that up to '64, parking lights went off when headlights went on. It wasn't until '65 that they changed that, because you could look like a motorcycle at night. He has a fix on his website to change this I believe. I bought a whole kit of halogens and extra bright stop/tail/turn/plate bulbs and relays and stuff from him last winter for my 64 4d belvedere but got spooked by all the diagrams (but I have an uncle who's a wiz at this) so I haven't attempted the changeover yet but check with him via the vendor pages. Tom Duross Bahstin I agree.? the feature of running the parking lights when the headlights are lit is a 70's and newer thing.? a 64 should not have parking lights lit when the headlights are on. Wayne, On my '64 Belvedere, when I switch from parking lights to headlights, the parking lights go off.
