side veiw mirror

Clear DayHello all, I know there is a way to tighten the side mirror on my 
Dodge 440.  And I don't mean  where it attaches to the body. The mirror just 
flops around, when I take it apart, there are no screws or any way to 
tighten it, there has to be a trick to it. Anybody know, I would sure like 
to tighten it down thanks......Butch
