Anything is possible in those days. Mr. Jay Pederson of Westport, CT., a
Chrysler executive and my neighbor in 1964 drove a 1964 Plymouth Fury
4-dr. with a 426-S complete with red 426 hood badge. The car was white
with red interior. I think is was the first car I ever saw with a AM/FM
radio. The right executive could go into production and put together
just about anything. But it was not a production car.

My new 426 MW car should be ready in less than 2 weeks. It's not
original, thank God, I don't have to go through hours of stories of
justification or a birth certificate from Mr. G.G.

I am friends with Barnes Daniels, former Ramcharger member from the late 50s
early 60s. He has a '64 Fury 4 door that is a factory 426S 4 speed. Black
with blue interior. He ordered it new when he worked for Texaco and it was a
test mule and when they were done he bought it. Interesting car,
interesting guy! Infact I bought my matching Fury from him, it was his "parts
car/driver". Unfortunately mine only has a 318 with push button and A/C. I
think
there were only about 6 426 street wedge Fury 4 doors.
