Havent got any dates to hand to be specific George, but, YES!
I think the earliest '63 model cars that came with the 426 would have 
been available from late '62.
Our 426 engine in our '63 (originally 361) has a casting date of 
10/10/62.
I'm not sure whether any 413's spilled over into the 63 model year?
