Gary,Thanks! Every time I go to that tech page, I find something new and get distracted.
I was looking at the replacement boot for the ball and trunion joint. Cool.Anyway, it looks like I have a working fuel gauge now! I drove to the Paddock and got a float, a filter, the ground strap, and the rubber seal. They were happy to see me, as I also bought some spares: voltage regulator and ballast resistor.
I'm going back to the garage to turn the key and watch that needle go up to a half-tank! I've only seen it do that once since I've owned the car (and that was two hours ago.)
