RE: Any carb suggestions?

Hi -

I've got a '70 440 in my '64 SF. It's basically stock with around 10:1, a bit of a cam stock 902 heads, max wedge exhausts, and electronic ignition. It's got a 750 Edelbrok on the stock intake and works beautifully.

Hello. I've got a rebuilt 1978 440 in my '64 Fury, factory 8:1 pistons,
very small Schumacher shorty headers, stock heads, dual-plane intake,
and mild cam--.460 lift, 220@50 duration, single pattern. 2,500 stall
converter with 3:23 open rear.

I'm going to bust my bank and buy a new carb, with vacuum secondaries.
This car will never see the track, and will be driven every day. I am
most concerned with it being responsive, and low- to mid-range power.
I'm thinking in the 650 cfm range, but I just don't know. I don't know
what brand to buy, either.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Sean
