I had a convertor and transmission built by Frank Lupo's Dynamic for behind a 340 I'm putting in a 65 Dart wagon. They said to use Dextron III, which is what they used when they tested the trans. I'm wondering if I should continue to use the Dextron or can I switch to the Mobil?

Don D., on your advice, I filled my bone-dry 727 completely with Mobil 1 ATF. I am very glad to have done so. However, you recommend sythetic Mobil 1 in the trans, but not the engine. Why?
