I'm not an expert on 65 SF's., I don't know what trim might have been a mid-year introduction. mid-year trim changes weren't common @ Chrysler but they did happen. I would suggest that the best way to determine what engine came with the car originally is the code on the fender tag or the certicard. under the "AB" on the FT, your find the engine code. it'll be 61 or 62 for a 330hp 4bbl 383, and 50 or 60 for a 361/2bbl or a 383/2bbl (respectively). In 1986 I bought a 1974 Police Satellite with a factory looking 2bbl 400, turned out to be a factory 4bbl/400.. the police swapped to a 2bbl for economy in the late 1970s. ---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
