I put Mobil 1 into my Jeep Grand Cherokee and it started leaking pretty badly as well. I put regular oil in it and had the gaskets changed. After 40K miles, it is leaking again. Must be a Jeep thing and not just the Mobil 1 causing the leaks. Speaking of leaks, when I change the pan gaskets on the oil pan, should I use permatex in addition to the rubber gasket? Should it go on both side of the gasket? I remember a friend putting Amsoil in a 26K mile Spirit and it leaked from EVERY gasket on the engine until he put std oil back in. In my daily drivers I use Rotella and synthetics in the trans. > Joe ____________________________________________________________________________________ TV dinner still cooling?
