Maybe but I saw a 63 valoant come out of a swamp here and it was solid as a rock . the guy even got in the back and jumped on the floors and they were solid. The car is now restored with minmal, body work. I passed it up bevause i thought it wqould be no good. Apparently because our soil is so much to the alkaline side the acid thing doesnt happen . We are soft dirt over Limestone base. The worst thing I know ever is for a car to sit on grass. About 3 or 4 years of that and there is no floor whatever under the carpets.
