Doug, I had the same problem with my 64 Sport Fury. The service manual does not say what the height should be, only that the sides shouldn't vary by more than 3/4" and that the springs will show reverse spring at resting position. My car was riding at 12" before I put in new oem springs, now it sits at 14" and is level with the front. I will send you a photo of my "before" so you will see where I measured from, which was from the bottom of the frame to the ground. Hope this helps. /Butch/Ferndale, WA -----Original Message----- From: Douglas Sutherland [mailto:pluckedchickens@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, May 31, 2007 8:50 AM To: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: '64 Sport Fury riding low. No, it's not intentional. My car looks like it is sitting pretty low in the back -- even lower on the passenger side. How can I determine what the rear height is supposed to be? How can I tell what is causing the problem -- Shocks, leaf springs? Thanks, Doug _________________________________________________________________ More photos, more messages, more storage-get 2GB with Windows Live Hotmail. http://imagine-windowslive.com/hotmail/?locale=en-us&ocid=TXT_TAGHM_migratio n_HM_mini_2G_0507 ---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
