That sounds similar to what my Dad used to do back in the 50's. He was a welder and he would take the manifold and weld in something, (never seen him do it though), and split the manifold, 2 and 4 and run duals from that. It sounded something like a V-8 running slow with good mufflers but would sound like mad bees at WOT. Bill C.
