RE: small starter



Rich is right, I don't the year matters as they're all pretty much the 
same. I have a V6 Dakota starter on the 426 in my Polara and it has 10.5 
to 1 flattops, 513 lift cam, and a little head work, and it starts fine. 
It's also quieter than the 67 Newport I just sold with 383 and original 
style starter.
