Well, I don't know about a cupholder Dave, but what I did was take an automatic finish plate and use my saber saw to cut out everything inside except the blank where the tach goes and left a thin border all the way around. Then I got a piece of aluminum from Home-Depot, cut it to size with tin snips, then broke it on the edge of my workbench to match the original crease down the middle. Drilled holes in it to match the original mounting screws, sandblasted it for a rough texture and mounted it. I have an old oak Superior steering wheel, made my own oak pistol grips, and next I will get some quarter-sawn veneer and cover the aluminum. It doesn't look original, but it should look good. Best part is I will have less than $50 in it. I will take some pics when it's done, maybe Gary can post them. Unless, of course, I do a crappy job, then NOBODY's gonna see it!
