I was going to mention this before but didnt. With headers and a rompin stompin Big block under the hood it isnt ever really cold in the 63 even if it is outside. Enough radiated heat comes in through the floor and firewall. Re shifters In my 58 Dpdge regent 318 car in my youth which is on my old sympatico website i had an Ansen posi -shift 3 speed shifter. It had a bed spring type of holdover spring and i think you could have shifted it with a 2X4 and it would have gone in. It was the best shifter I ever drove bar none. Lou Ansen was one of my heros groing up and so i saved for months to afford it back then. Never regretted it however i do regret not keeping it when i sold the car. Probably should have bought a Hurst because I went to school though with George Hurst's ,nephew, Actor Rick Hurst from Dukes.of H He was living in Montreal then for some strange reason (mid 60s)and so was I through some mean twist of fate.
