Close. The '65 Monaco console is full length, and thus the carpet is different. The '65 Polara, Coronet, Satellite, Belvedere, 300L, Fury all use the same console. I'm not sure if the fiberglass 4spd humps are different (the floor pans are), but I have a B-body 4spd console hump on my C-body Polara and it fits fine. The '64 Polara/330/440, and Fury use the same console as '65 but the courtesy lights are different (smaller). All 64/65 consoles I have seen in person and online (at least 10) have the cutout for the 4speed hump. Automatic consoles had a steel plate covering the cutout mounted with the same screws used for the fiberglass hump. When I converted my 65 I simply removed the plate, trimmed the carpet, and added the hump.

Tom, I believe all 64 and 65 B bodies and 65 C bodies share console bodies, with the only differences being the courtesy lights and finish plates. And of course, the 4-speed hump on the driver's side. My Dad gave me his 65 Monaco when I graduated high school in 73 and I remember the console and shifter in that car was just like the 64 and 65 B's I have had and seen. Correct me if I'm wrong anybody. Tom Duross wrote:Would you guys indulge me a little on this. Gary, could I send you a couple of pictures of this console with carpet attached? Dave, and others, could you take pictures of your finished consoles? Could we put up a temporary page for this Gary? I'll make a donation. I'd like to list 64 and 65 B body consoles and see what the difference is. I think a 64 Fury, Sport Fury, 65 Satellite and Polara are all the same. I was going to ship the console carpet today but I'm going to hold off for now. I have a name of Randy Cotton at their Powell St. plant to ship this to. I think I'm going to talk directly with him before I ship, make sure it won't be cut up and I'll get it back PLUS a new one. I did all my talking with their product development woman, I think I'll speak with Randy. What do you guys think? Can I get a 65 Satellite and Polara Owner? I've looked over the member's pages, not much detail on consoles.
