RE: Oil pan that works!

Sean/George:
Is this new oil pan a correct reproduction for 63-64 big blocks? Same capacity, dimensions, shape, and so on?
Thanks, Donny, 64 Belvedere.

To those of you who, like me, went crazy trying to find an original big
block oil pan for our cars, stop doinkin' around. On George Smith's
advice I purchased a brand new "971" pan from Chrysler--I think it was
about a hundred bucks. Clears the K-frame AND the steering center link
by a mile, even with a windage tray and two gaskets. This pan also has
terrific front and rear baffles. Don't forget the matching pickup tube,
also from Chrysler. Whew!

Thanks, George
