Dave: I have a related issue on leaf springs. I need a set of spring assembly clamps for the heavy duty springs on my 64 Belvedere. These are the original springs which have the extra leafs and 4 galvanized liners which stiffen the whole assembly. Anyway, are there 2 clamps on each side or just one on each side? I have one clamp but its not salvageable...These things look easy enough to make, just some light gauge metal and the center bolt, but I'm just wondering if anybody has the correct thing. All the spring shops and folks like Espo don't have any of these. Any ideas?
Thanks, Donny.
