Dave: I have a related issue on leaf springs. I need a set of spring
assembly clamps for the heavy duty springs on my 64 Belvedere. These are the
original springs which have the extra leafs and 4
galvanized liners which stiffen the whole assembly. Anyway, are there 2
clamps on each side or just one on each side? I have one clamp but its not
salvageable...These things look easy enough to make, just some light gauge
metal and the center bolt, but I'm just wondering if anybody has the
correct thing. All the spring shops and folks like Espo don't have any of
these. Any ideas?
Thanks, Donny.

Another happy customer of St.Louis Spring here as well.I added a leaf
and 1" of arch.As Rich said, the SS springs from Mopar are Mexican
junk, plus the car won't sit level due to the extra leaf in the right
pack. They also build the correct segment lengths so you don't have to
change front hangers.
