Re: 4-spd shifter

I didn't modify my competition plus, I got a stick with a little more angle in it. The first was planting my knuckles in the blower knob every time. Now I only get a bruised knuckle if I get carried away and my hand slips off of the knob (its got the good old plain black knob).

i had to move mine as close to the outer end as possible to adjust my shift rods in a cobbled together setup. I can't really say how much it lengthened the throw because i don't have a before point to compare to. But i had a buddy once that had a Cuda that had the dual-pattern parts on it and when he swapped holes it made quite a difference.
