Thanks Rich.
Thats kinda what the manual said but as it wasnt clear what we were feeling 
around for with the screwdriver, I thought I better ask around!
The photo shows a spring at the end of the cable inside the trans, that 
wouldnt be the retainer spring you mentioned would it?
