peak hp

Baring an extreme restriction or deficiency peak HP is determined by camshaft duration at .050 or effective duration. It is even mathematically caculable once you have a baseline for comparison. I know it isnt often talked about, probaby because it is little known and often not well understood. In a B/RB series race engine we can peg it within 50 RPM before we ever turn a wrench.
