propane tray has the two little heat passages for maniolf heat locked off. It works very well. I have one in the shop still in the box. I will seee of the number is still on. Bill Bagshaw di a test in the seventies and said on the dyno on a decent 440 (511 hp) blockingthat tiny passage gave a whooping 28 horse. As he put it , that is a lot of power to gain just blocking two little holes . Well worth it and we always do it and have since about 1970 . You could step down to a Comp extreme cam and still have a good performer. The number I would use would be XE284H. Of course a Racer brown 510 lift hydraulic works wonderful too. I really feel that lift in our engines on the street works best just above .500" . I personally have a hard time below 500 getting the punch I feel I "need" . For the extremely well heeled folks one of the new hydraulic retrofit roller grinds with lift in the 500 to 525 range would really make a nice performing engine but adds considerably to the cost. For some of us too much i fear.
