Many aftermarket radios also have two holes per side, that require a 
two-pronged, "V" shaped wire on each side for removal.  These clips look 
a lot like bent coat hangars.  This has also become standard on many 
original equipment radios, as well.  For example, Ford has been using 
them for over 20 years.
