We get it at Auto body supply shops and it covers any color extremely well. we have dyed black seats white with one coat no problem. According to my PPG Ditzler catalogue the red used on the 64 Plymouths was called Majestic Red and was gloss, satin, or what they called velvet depending on what was painted, as in trim, dash, seats etc. Different flattening agents are used to get the desired results.
