Steering gearbox interchange *should* be '62-'72 A + B body, but there is a note in the interchange manual that some '65s have a 10.30" shaft while some have a 10.45 to 10.50" shaft, and these are regarded as different interchange groups. Not sure which shaft they refer to here. But, it doesn't sound like you need a whole steering box, just some valve body parts. Note that there are different styles of pressure and return hoses. The critical difference at the steering box end is that some pressure hoses have a male thread, while others have female. If your pressure hose has a male thread but there is also male thread on your steering box' valve body, simply unscrew the thread adaptor that is presently threaded into the valve body and you will find the female thread you need. Likewise, if your hose has female thread but there's already female thread atop the valve body, it should not be difficult to find the necessary thread adaptor from e.g. Weatherhead (NAPA) or Dorman/Brasscraft. There are two sizes of return hose: 3/8" and 5/8". If you have the wrong-size return nozzle on your valve body, you can swap just the nozzle. Make sure to use a good-quality new O-ring when you do so. The valve bodies swap from '62 clear on up into the '80s, so it should not be hard to find the bits you need.
