I had forgoten about Jet-Hot. Great stuff, will not turn, but $$$$$$$.
I got a quote to do a pair of hi-po 340 manifolds ~ 5 years ago and it
was almost $400!!! I thought that was WAY too expensive, and set upon
hunting for another method.
You can contact them for a quote to check $. www.jet-hot-com

I have used high temp paint on drag bike headers, it eventually burned off,
but they are easy to remove and install, compared with a car's exhaust
manifold. I think the best, which I have also used, is Jet-Hot. They can
coat in several colors; black, aluminum and "almost chrome." I have been
advised by a local powder coater (the business owner) that he uses Jet-Hot
on all of his person cars. I have not yet used high temp powder coating,
but it costs as much as Jet-Hot, if not more, since most places charge
extra
for sandblasting, prep-work. Jet-Hot includes sandblasting with your
price.
Last time I had it done on a set of headers, it was $150.
