RE: Like to hear some opinions (little off-topic)



I have a Poly and would install one of those alternators if it provides 
the service I want.

It is thicker (front to back) but other than that, only people that know 
and care, would even mention it.

The general public are not very up on the originality of our cars.  They 
have seen vehicles with dual master cylinders and electronic ignition 
all their lives so they do not realize that those items are not 
"original" to our vintage.

Those same folks will not know that the alternator is not original and 
even if it was pointed out to them, they would not care.

As long as it works, that is generally good enough.

That is one man's opinion.
