Re: Floor pans into a '64 Valiant

While at the Nationals I inquired at Laysons about pre 67 floor pans and was told they are available; however, "didn't have any at the show but were back in WA". I have used 67-up floor pans in my 65 Dart convertible. The fronts were a pretty good fit IIRC while the rears required more work than the fronts. That said I ordered a set of front pans for my 65 Valiant convert and a driver's side for my 65 Dart wagon. Now gotta find time to put them in.

Well, they don't make floor pan patches for earlier than '67 A-Bodies,
and I've read that these panels will work in the earlier cars with some
amount of changes, metalwork done to them.

Can anybody tell me how much metalwork? I'm going to buy the front
patches soon, but want to get an idea what I am in for.

Looking forward to gettin' out a pair of pliers and a blowtorch.
I'm 'bout to get medieval on them floorboards!
