I had a look at the 2 before I sent that link and thought they looked different. But I only have the 2 pics of the Mecum car, or am I missing something?
I can still see some differences that suggest to me they're not the same car: Ebay car has - Gloss air cleaner lids, heater hoses in correct pos'n, over-riders front & rear, says its engine's origin is not know so must be considered non-original, 40,017 miles.
And in just a few weeks the Mecum car has had a 'concourse California restoration'. It has a fresh-looking (but incorrect?) radiator and incorrectly positioned heater hoses (not very concourse!). No over-riders, satin black air cleaner lids and chrome valve covers (also not 'correct'). It says "Correct & documented by Galen Govier" so I presume that means the engine is the original. 36,000 miles.
Sure, some of this could have been changed over, but to me, it looks like the differences would have made the car less 'correct'.
Be interesting to see what it fetches as the Ebay car didnt sell at $50k. Robert----- Original Message ----- From: <SherwoodK@xxxxxxx>

The 63 is the same car that was on Ebay several weeks ago. Just look at therust by the spring perches underneath -- same photos used throughout.
