Vote now. caaeatsbOyW3Na/Your opinion ------------------------------------------------------------------- All brakes in a single system recieve exactly the same hydrulic pressure regardless. This is because of pascals law which states pressure is drictrubted with equal force in all directions. So it isnt a bleeding problem. Even if the brakes were not bled right it would still have the same force applied to all wheels regardless , it would just be les to all. . if there was any significant amount of air in the system you wouldnt have enough pedal to drive it saflely anyway. These are hard fast rules not negotiable. So why is one brake pulling. Adjust ment? Nipe Same rules applies no matter how you adjustthem. so you need to make sure cylinders are not siezed. . this can be done with the drum of and knocking the shoes back and forth with your hands and seeing if the cylinder goes back in or does the shoestand proud off the pin. at the top. Next check for a leaking cylinder that may have contaminated the shoes. This can be done by pulling the rubbers back. #1 cause is contaminated linings meaning grease or oil or brake fliud has gotten on the linings and that will make them grab. You can replace them which is the best solution or you could cheat and take the front shoes and swap one shoe from each front wheel to the other side. This will even out the pull in most cases and will tell you ifthat is the problem. Also make sure you have the shoes proprly installed. The front shoe isthe shortest and the shoe with the longer lining goes on the rear side of the assembly. That is because the front shoe is used essentually to activate the rear shoe which does the major braking. this is called self engergizing servo action. So you can bleed and adjust till the cows come home but it wont change anything because the laws are the laws and do not change No shoe can do any braking untill all are shoving with equal aplied force.
