Well I've never found any stainless to be magnetic.
It is all basically, the same alloy, but 320, 316 having more nickel in
it than say 304
The higher alloy number means it has more nickel.
It is a non ferrous metal, like brass, bronze, aluminum, etc.
That's why stainless intake valves have to be zyglow inspected, instead
of magnafluxed.
It has to be magnetic to magnaflux.

well some stainless is magnetic and some is not,it depends what alloy it is
t-304 is different than t-316 or t-320. but the file in a hidden area is
a good one
