While I can't swear on the proverbial "stack", a Mopar club bro claimed he
was tangentially involved in the productions of JJames and Boyd shows, and
claims the TV people guide/setup the emotional dramas to get better
ratings......kind of has the ring of truth to me.
I do like the Foose stuff better, although I did like very much the JJames
show where they brought in a bunch of veteran builders from the '40's and '50's,
believe they customized a '53 Chevy as they did back in the 50's. The bodyman
who did the lead particularly impressive.
The other amazing in a diffrent way deal is where the car show guys have
everything go perfectly right coming apart (hard work is done off-camera by
others) & just falls apart great in seconds & goes together in minutes equally
perfectly.
