The 392 would be much less work in say a 62-65 B Body. Or how about a 392 in an early A van/pickup?

A 392 in an "A" body, what a bitch'n ride. It can be done, might have to cut some fender wells. Make a cradle for motor mounts. If they can put the 426 in a "A" body, why not a 392, I believe it is only 1" difference across the heads. You can always fine a nice 70's pick-up and drop it in, something different? Remember there are no rules in hot rodding.

Sounds like my problem too. Have a completely rebuilt 392 Hemi looking for a project and a 72 440 waiting for a rebuild. 65 A Bodies just won't work for either of those motors Don
