The thing you need to consider is the length of the input shaft and bearing
retainer. You can look at the specs for all the TKO's and T-56's and
whatnot, and none of them have an input long enough to work with an 833
bellhousing. I suspect Keisler has their own input shaft and bearing
retainer made to fit a TKO. Plus they've got the whole shifter thing worked
out.
You might be hard pressed to do it yourself for less than what they charge.

Has anyone on the list ever experimented with installing a 5-spd like a
Mustang or Camaro T5 in an early B-body behind an RB? I'd like a 5-spd,
but I don't want to spend 3k for a Keisler, and aas far as I know Mopar
doesn't make one. I thought about the Dakota 5-spd, but I don't know if
it will work, either. Does anyone make an adapter, or has anyone ever
redrilled a bellhousing? I'm thinking of trying it myself this winter
when I put the 426 in. Thanks
