I wish I had an original 426 air cleaner & decal to look at for you! 
That would mean it sat on top of a carb on a 426 engine. :-) 

Sounds like you're looking for a "survivor" car. Anyone here own an 
original 1965 426 Street Wedge Mopar? 

If not, contact Mel Major and see if he can hook you up with an owner of 
an original '65 426 survivor. Mel used to be a member here, but I don' t 
know if he stayed active during the show season.
