Don't fret, gentlemen.  Just give 'em a grin and a nod ... consider it 
necessary to go through the masses to get to the one or two folks that 
you'll bump into that actually get it.  I spent the better part of a day 
walking among the 1.7 million who attended the Woodward Dream Cruise, 
and at the end of the day, realized that the best part of the day was 
talking to just a few folks ... the ones who connected with me 
immediately as if we were members of some secret society.

And I'll have to say it works both ways, so be open to the folks that 
pass by.  My ride isn't "out there" yet, but I know in my heart that 
I've got literally hundreds of hours of frustration, love, sweat, 
whatever you want to call it ... into my car, more so than many of the 
knuckleheads out there today.  But, unfortunately, because the car is 
still in the garage in pieces, I've been blown off big-time when I've 
tried to strike up a conversation.  Perhaps the fault of the "numbers 
matching guys," but a shame nonetheless, when a "secret society" 
connection could have been made.

On another note ... thanks, Gary.  Payment sent.  All of you guys are 
the best and I consider myself very lucky to be a part of this group.  
Thanks to all for putting up with my stupid questions and silly 
comments.

One final thought: how about a clubhouse flag or banner someday?
