A local guy has a 1964 426 Max Wedge engine ( 2406730
casting )
 ( date 1/24/64) with 286 heads ( 1962 Max Wedge ? ) .
The engine is disassembled and appears to have no
cylinder ridge. The heads have been ported and look in
great shape. He had bought this for his 63 Max Wedge
car but sold the car with a 440 in it. He supposedly
has everything including the Max Wedge intake, correct
carbs, and exhaust. I want to make an offer. What do
you guys think it's worth ? Any potential problems
with these 286 heads ? If I don't take it, I'll
forward the info to anyone else on the list, that's
interested.
